“With Love, Bawo!” It is the overall website and its contents including every other branch included in this website such as “SHOP”, “Lifestyle”, “Travel” and more – (Coming soon), The Food Blog (Bawo’s Kitchen Journal).
“Bawo’s Kitchen Journal” is the Food Blog part of this website. It is focused on food, recipes, recipes testing, stories and everything else in both.
“With Love, Bawo!” will be used severally on this website, for example, it will be used as a signature at the end of most write up.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When comment ratings are enabled we store the rating a user has given to a recipe along with the personal data WordPress core stores.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
IP Address
When user ratings are enabled we store the IP address upon voting. This is used as (one of the) measures to prevent rating spam.
Contact forms
The Contact Forms is used to make inquiries and send feedback. If the contact form is used, the sender’s email address and name will be collected and these information will be kept for a period of 2 days to 6 months solely for customer service purposes and we will never use any of the information submitted through the contact form for marketing purpose.
Newsletter and Signup Forms
The newsletter forms and signup forms are used to collect names and email addresses from anyone who fills and submits the forms (“Subscribers”). These information collected will be used to send Subscriber(s) newsletters containing our latest updates, products, sales, new posts, recipes and so much more. The information contained in the newsletter isn’t limited to the list above, With Love, Bawo! and Bawo’s Kitchen Journal will include information to the newsletters as they need. By submitting your information, you are granting us permission to email you. The frequency of sending the newsletters will vary, as often as With Love, Bawo! and Bawo’s Kitchen Journal requires. Subscriber can Unsubscribe from the newsletter at anytime.
Cookies

When user ratings are enabled we store a WPRM_User_Voted_%recipe% cookie (with %recipe% the ID of the recipe) that contains the rating this user has given to a particular recipe. This cookie is used as (one of the) measures to prevent rating spam.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
When you click the “like” button (heart icon) to like a post, a post likes cookie will be saved in the browser on your computer. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the post you just liked. Those cookies last for 30 days. So you will not be able to click on the button again within 30 days to “like” the same post again.
Post Likes cookies are those beginning with “loftocean_post_likes_post-“.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
